management (MDM), today announced the
successful participation in the latest
round of interoperability testing at
the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Test
Fest held March 21-27, 2006, in Montréal,
Canada. At the event, InnoPath successfully
demonstrated interoperability between
the company’s OMA-mobile device

and OMA-DM V1.2 compliant clients and
servers from multiple other vendors.

leading worldwide manufacturers, including
Alcatel, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Sony

InnoPath’s OMA-DM server supports
standards-compliance of OTA device management
and firmware updates across devices that

and or earlier. InnoPath’s tested
successfully against all the OMA DM provisional
test cases, as well as the optional test
cases. InnoPath intends to continue participation
in all OMA Test Fests.
“Our ongoing participation in
the OMA Test Fests ensures that our solutions

devices, making it easier for operators
to implement MDM solutions,” said
Dr. Tom London, vice president, Research
and Development at InnoPath. “With
the successful completion of the latest
interoperability tests, we continue to
demonstrate our commitment to supporting
and extending the industries latest standards.”
"OMA's TestFests are designed to allow
OMA to produce better specifications
and to help member companies develop
and deploy fully interoperable products
and service," says Fred Harrison, Vice
Chair of the OMA Board and Chair of IOP
Programs at the OMA. "Thereby accelerating
the end user adoption and growing the
market for the entire mobile industry."
