InnoPath Press Release

SANYO Selects InnoPath's DeltaUpgrade Plus to Enhance Customer Experience and Rapidly Bring Next-Generation Handsets to Market

Proven, Update-Ready Solution to Deliver Over-the-Air Software and Firmware Updates for SANYO Mobile Handsets

SAN JOSE, Calif. - September 27 , 2004 - InnoPath Software Inc., (formerly DoOnGo Technologies) the industry leader in over-the-air (OTA) mobile device software management, today announced that SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer and commercial electronics, has selected InnoPath's DeltaUpgrade Plus? to manage the software on SANYO's future mobile handsets. DeltaUpgrade Plus will enable SANYO to leverage InnoPath's innovative, leading-edge technology to significantly enhance handset user experience while speeding the time to market for next-generation handsets.

"With its commercial success, InnoPath's DeltaUpgrade Plus is the clear choice for helping us keep handset software and firmware current and functional," said Mr. Hiroyuki Kusaka, General Manager, Software Department, Telecom Company of SANYO . "With OTA, SANYO can more effectively meet its customers' demands for unmatched customer service for our feature rich handsets."

Today, more than 30 million subscribers benefit from InnoPath's patented, update-ready technology. According to Strategy Analytics, 69 percent of handsets sold will be OTA-enabled by 2009. In addition to meeting the needs of customers through faster software downloads, OTA solutions reduce costs associated with warranty expenses and customer support, enable manufacturers to bring new handsets to market more quickly, and repair software bugs in already-manufactured or deployed handsets. Additionally, OTA helps give device manufacturers deploying OTA-capable handsets a competitive edge in the wireless market.

"Working with SANYO, a leader in the U.S. mobile wireless space, is yet another significant milestone for InnoPath," said Dr. Luosheng Peng, CEO, chairman and co-founder of InnoPath. "DeltaUpgrade Plus will enable SANYO to maintain its position as a leader in providing the most up-to-date customer application and services. This agreement also extends InnoPath's global footprint in the OTA market to the United States."
